Meet EOI Space’s Strategic Advisors

After landing an $82M pre-launch contract with NTT DATA and crossing the infamous startup Valley of Death, EOI Space is entering a new phase in business—and tapping into an impressive network of experts to foster continued, strategic growth. 

“Our advisors have been carefully curated to provide counsel on a diverse set of topics ranging from astrophysics to artificial intelligence,” remarked Chris Thein, EOI Space Co-Founder and CEO, “Through them, we’ll be able to draw on decades of leadership across several branches of the U.S. military and commercial experience at companies like Google.” 

EOI Space’s strategic advisors: 

Jordan Bell

Jordan has over two decades of experience managing security programs and ensuring compliance for the U.S. Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. 

John Carrico

John is an astrodynamicist with experience in implementing solutions for defense and commercial uses at Honeywell, AGI, NASA, Applied Defense Solutions, and Google. 

Melanie Corcoran

Melanie is a technology professional helping bring cutting-edge geospatial innovations to market at organizations like Descartes Labs, Ursa Space Systems, National Geographic, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. 

Joseph Cosumano, Lt Gen, USA (Ret) 

General Cosumano served as the Commander of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) and the U.S. Army Space Command, and as President at CFD Research Corporation. 

Martin France, Brig Gen, USAF (Ret) 

General France is a seasoned Space, defense, policy, and strategy professional with expertise in instructing tactical users of Earth Intelligence and Space data at U.S. Air Force Academy and Aleut Management Services. 

Sean Gorman

Sean is a geospatial entrepreneur who has founded and successfully led multiple commercial-oriented companies to acquisition by organizations like DigitalGlobe and Snap.  

Hugh W Howard, RADM, USN (Ret) 

Admiral Howard commanded at all levels of the Special Forces, including the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, and served as Director of Operations at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.  

Jessica King

Jessica is a geospatial intelligence visionary, strategist, and evangelist with expertise in multi-source data fusion and leadership experience at USGIF, HumanGeo, DigitalGlobe, Sanborn, and PGTEK. 

Dirk Robinson

Dirk is a researcher and builder with experience in developing electro-optical imaging systems, machine learning, and geo-focused artificial intelligence at companies like Google, Skybox, and Ricoh. 

Brad Tousley, LTC, USA (Ret)  

Colonel Tousley is an aerospace executive and retired U.S. Army Officer with experience deploying Space systems and managing Earth Intelligence portfolios at DARPA, Raytheon Intelligence Space, and Blue Canyon Technologies. 

Mandy Vaughn

Mandy is the former President and CEO of VOX Space, and currently serves on the Defense Science Board, as Chair of the National Security Space Association, and as a member of the National Space Council’s User Advisory Group.
